Spiritual writings from the Sufis 800 years ago state:
"Out of the original unity of being there is a fragmentation and dispersal of beings, the last stage being the splitting of one soul into two. And consequently, love is the search by each half for the other half on earth or in heaven... As twin souls are so alike to begin with, it seems necessary for them to go their separate ways before they can complete each other. Identity and complementarity are the two driving forces and axes of love... For the complete being there must be a blending of the two."
Again I am reminded once again of hydrogen and oxygen. Both are gases. Yet when combined they void each other out willingly for the great good: to become life giving and life sustaining water.
I used to scoff at the thought of having to give up a piece of myself in order to be in a relationship. The idea of compromising or worse even - of sacraficing - seemed illogical to me. And the term "voiding myself" certainly sounds like "forgetting about myself," nullifying myself," "forsaking myself." When in fact it only seems like a oxymoron, a contradiction in its literal sense. In fact the exact opposite becomes true. In order words, if I "lose" myself for the sake of being united with my Twin Soul, I "gain" heaven and bliss instead.
We have all heard things like: "In order for a seed to produce it must fall to the ground and die." "And the two shall become one." And "what God has mended no man shall separate."
I am realizing that no matter how hard we try, water will never become gasous again. It can take on different forms, however, and adjust to and create new conditions. In form of steam, dew, fog, ice and so on. Similarly, my relationship with my Twin Soul will enable me so much more than if I remained on my own. The choice is clear: Find my Twin Soul as soon as possible.

There is sooo much agony and spiritual loneliness and isolation in any relationships other than your twin soul not that the feelings aren't there but it's better than finding that twin soul to early and becoming the overwhelmed ( runner twin soul this leaves your twin soul partner traumatized abandoned twin soul..) Its extremely rare for the twin soul half's to meet once in a lifetime but if they are not both ready or spiritually awake enough to complete the initial bond process and becoming separate again I can tell you that pain is much worse and the best word for that constant anguish and empty feelings I can think of is desiderium and finding them a second time is astronomical odds against but that's hard to reconcile I have been through this all and lost her for the third time... and I have been lost and getting weaker dying faster with my rea'son detra lost to me .. So be aware of the risk and trials of the twin souls bond
